Make a harp Course

TWO DAYS HARP MAKING WORKSHOP
ORGANIZED BY HARP ON WIGHT

Place:      WHITEFIELD (Erik van Dam) Brading Road, RYDE PO33 1QL

Dates:     Two consecutive days 10a.m. - 4p.m. (lunch break 1 hour)
from Saturday 3rd to Sunday 4th October 2015
 
This year the Harp Making Course has been organized one week
before the Harp Festival in order to allow people to take part of
the festival with the new born instrument!

Cost: £ 360 (prepaid deposit £ 200)

Model: 26 strings LAP HARP (2 and half octave. No Levers)
Price includes the cost of all materials needed to construct and finish the harp: wood parts, harp kit consisting of hoop pine, brass bridge pins, machine heads, bridge buttons and a set of nylon strings. All tools required for the assembly of the instruments will be provided.

Only one instrument per participant is to be made during the course.
The workshop harp:
The harps we will be making are constructed from pine. The      design will be for a 26 strings Celtic/Paraguayan style harp. Due to safety restrictions, we will supply parts of the harp already cut to design in order to proceed to assembly, fitting, finishing, stringing without having to use “dangerous” machinery.
