MARIANNE GUBRI |
Marianne Gubri is a Breton harpist based in Italy for over 25 years, where she has developed a unique path combining compositions, performance, music therapy and sound research. She performs regularly across Europe, Asia and the Americas, with concerts held in cities in several festivals and venues. As a composer, her music weaves together Celtic and ancient traditions with original compositions, ambient soundscapes, voice and meditative atmospheres.
She has published several albums including Arcani (2024), Vita Nuova (2021), Believe (2020) and Ankaa (2018), which explore the connections between music, inner transformation and universal symbolism. |
A certified Harp Therapy and Vibroacoustic Harp Practitioner and trained in Music Imagery, Marianne integrates therapeutic harp into both individual and group sessions, working in healthcare, rehabilitation, and wellness settings. Her approach emphasizes resonance, silence, and intentional listening as tools for healing and self-discovery.
She is the founder of Arpeggi, a harp school based in Bolognam and of Resonantya, a training center for therapeutic harp and sound practices in France and Italy. Through Resonantya, she offers comprehensive educational programs for harpists, sound healers and wellness professionals.
Marianne is also active as a lecturer and educator, having taught in several European conservatories and spoken at international conferences such as TEDx Bologna, Globe Sound Healing Conference (USA), and ISQRMM (Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine). Her publications include music therapy articles and books exploring the philosophical and therapeutic dimensions of sound.
Her work weaves together artistic performance, contemplative sound, and embodied listening, offering a deep and poetic experience of the harp as an instrument of resonance and connection.
