DANIEL PERRET

Picture
Born in Zurich in 1950, B.A. in economics from Zurich University. In 1983 he bought his Salvi pedal harp. Since then, Daniel was  exclusively improvising on the harp. Before that, and parallel to his harp playing, he was studying and playing traditional folk music from a number of traditions on several instruments (Appalachian, Ireland, Scotland, England) for 35 years. The wisdom and humility in those oral traditions has greatly inspired him.
Concurrently he has been studying, teaching and practicing spiritual healing. Daniel has recorded many albums and written books about his three main subjects of research: music healing, earth healing and energy healing.
For 14 years Daniel worked as a music therapist with children on the autistic spectrum in a French state hospital (Brive La Gaillarde). Since 1983 his path on the harp was centred on “feeling” improvisations without structures and exploring the divine sources of inspiration. Since 2021 he has been coaching a group of international therapeutic harpists for distance healing.
