HARPORETUM

HARPORETUM
~~~LISTEN to the music of plants
~~~PLAY harp and other instruments with plants
~~~PAINT the music of plants
Harporetum is an exciting project born to share with children the beneficial aspects of the music of plants, through interactive hands-on sessions.
What if we could explore the music of plants, from the oak in the garden to the basil pot in the kitchen?
Something could change in the way we look at plants and we feel in nature.
Using specific tools capable of capturing the vibrations of plants and translating them into real music, we will be able to listen to their rhythm, pitch, patterns and find new ways to communicate with them using the language of music.
We will work with the elements (earth, water, fire, air) combined with the characteristics of plants (seeds, roots, trunks and branches… ), using different instruments (including the harp), exploring new sounds, rhythm and colours.
And we will produce impressions of the music of the plants that will become a MUSICAL SCORE FOR PLANTS!
