Come and Try the Harp

This special session offered a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to try their hand at the harp. Led by Fran, it was a fun and welcoming experience where participants learned basic techniques, played some simple tunes, and discovered more about continuing their harp journey. The harps, kindly provided by some of our wonderful exhibitors, made the event even more special. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such a memorable experience.

Breton

Description:
Elisa proposes some samples of European ballad heritage (North Italian, Scandinavian and French), each with their recurrent melodic patterns and proposes different interpretations for each and ornamentation according to the origin of the ballad.

Exploring Distance healing with the harp. The energy fields of the harp and the harpist, developing feelings and intuition in harp playing.
Tuning into sources of inspiration (mental, astral, spiritual). Musical structures hindering our intuitive flow. Musical paths into free improvisation e.g. the five elements.
How distance healing with the harp operates on subtle energy levels.
What can be achieved with distance healing. Healing for humans, animals, nature and spiritual entities.

Learn how to speak, sing and play from the heart, weaving myths, poems and inner visions into music that resonates with soul and meaning.

Description:
Introducing the use of electronics supporting the harp as adding colours to the instruments.
Creating with acoustic harps, using easy patterns, unconventional techniques and improvisation, some soundscapes of different moods.
